Already the second day, on the Internet, passions raging about tier-4 tournament for the American region - NA Summer Shuffle. The public suspects the site of a scam and dishonest gambling. In this article, we have put together all the facts that are known at the moment. We also have something to add to it!
Tournament Announcement
Already from the announcement of the tournament, two big claims appeared.
The first one is that the tier-4 tournament for the weak teams in the Americas cannot have a prize pool of $15,000. For comparison, at tier-2 tournaments with the best teams of the region, prize pools usually are $35,000 - $50,000.
The second claim was that the tournament announced on the Twitter account, which has only 15 followers. The information in its profile says that they are sponsored by the German digital consulting firm "Towa-Digital," but there is no mention of NA Summer Shuffle on their website and social networks.
Tournament start
Betting companies started adding the tournament to their sites and accepting bets. NA Summer Shuffle began to on schedule, but after the first match between Doze Esports and Reborn, Doze Esports posted a tweet:
According to it, the team states to have refused to participate in the tournament, and someone else played instead.

Fact of fake

Each team in Dota 2 has its own unique "id." Unlike the name, it cannot change. Through this "ids," professional teams add to tournaments.
And in the case of this tournament, the ids of all participating teams didn't match their real ones. Also, they were almost identical.
It means that the teams were created almost at the same time, and with a probability of 99.9%, we can say that they all were fake.
At the time of publication, the tournament has already been removed from many sites with Dota 2 statistics. Also, bookmakers have closed the reception of bets on it.
