Xiao8 leaves Xtreme Gaming on the eve of TI
On their official page on Weibo Xtreme Gaming announced changes in the coaching staff — after friendly negotiations, xiao8 left the team, and LaNm took his place.
Rumors about the possible departure of xiao8 had been circulating online for a long time, as well as talks about disagreements in gameplay aspects and constant conflicts within the team. The situation went to extremes: during DreamLeague 29, xiao8 left the bootcamp where the team was playing due to a conflict with the players, and his assistant Maps replaced him. For the upcoming Games of the Future 2026 the team also flew in and took team photos without him.

LaNm was previously a tier-1 player on the Chinese scene and even took 2nd place at The International 2011 as part of EHOME. As a coach, he worked with Team Aster, Azure Ray, and also Xtreme Gaming, showing quite solid results.
The team will compete at Games of the Future 2026, which will take place from July 31 to August 8 in Astana, Kazakhstan with a prize pool of 1 million dollars.
