Xibbe from Chicken Fighters caught in stream sniping during a DPC: EU match
On Wednesday, May 5, professional player 🇸🇪Andreas Per "Xibbe" Ragnemalm, a member of the Chicken Fighters, was spotted in stream sniping in a match in the DPC: EU Lower Division. The match was between Chicken Fighters and Ghost frogs.
It is not a fake account. The account from the broadcast chat is linked to the player's personal Twitter account. On this map, 🇸🇪Xibbe personally destroyed 23 wards while the entire enemy team had destroyed only 27 ones.
The current Dota Pro Circuit season takes place online in five out of the six regions, and matches on broadcasts have a 5-minutes delay. But even such a delay allows players to get the necessary information about the opponents: ward placement, buyback status, and item build.
Such players' online machinations are difficult to prove, but there are cases of sanctions. So at the beginning of this year, at the BLAST CS:GO tournament, Team Vitality received a fine for a similar situation. At the moment, DreamHack hasn't commented on the stream sniping in the match between Chicken Fighters and Ghost frogs.
