Yandex crushed BetBoom and advanced to the grand final of PGL Wallachia S7
The third day of the playoffs of PGL Wallachia Season 7 has ended. Team Yandex secured a spot in the grand final, while BetBoom Team will still have to fight Team Liquid for the right to at least make the top 2:
BetBoom Team gave away the first nerve‑racking map to Team Yandex and couldn’t recover after that. On the second map watson demolished them with a 14/0/15 KDA:
Despite the fact that the young 16-year-old midlaner of Heroic reached 17,000 MMR today and at the same time is in the top 4 of the European ladder, this did not secure the team a place at the tournament. All the more so because the opposing team has the top-1 ladder player, prime Nišeslav. In the last game the victory was close, both sides had megacreeps, but alas:
Team Spirit had no problems with Tundra Esports. At first there was simply no opponent on the first map, when Tundra Esports didn’t make a single kill until the midgame. On the second, the Dragons shut down the offlane, built up an advantage, and calmly finished the game:
The last match was the most even. Those cliff stands alone were worth it: first Boxi on Batrider dragged Larl up there, and then Nisha on Tiny tossed Collapse onto a cliff, where he sat for 5 minutes, losing several couriers along the way. In the second game Team Spirit tied the series, and in the third they were blown out with no chances — they somehow managed to play a whole 32 minutes having only 5 kills:
PGL Wallachia Season 7 takes place from March 7 to 15 in Bucharest, Romania, with a prize pool of 1 million dollars.
