Between games at The International 10, Valve announced the new hero, a character of DOTA: Dragon's Blood — Marci. As noted in the announcement, the new hero will be added this fall. According to the lore, Marci was Mirana's squire.
In addition to the hero announcement, Valve announced the second season of DOTA: Dragon's Blood. It will be released next year on the streaming platform Netflix. The first season of the animated series was released in March 2021 and had 8 episodes.
