6 Teams Invited To The International 2024
Valve has made an official statement regarding The International 2024. Six teams have been directly invited to play at Dota 2’s biggest stage:
The remaining teams must qualify for the event through regional qualifiers:

China (2 slots) - 9 to 13 June

North America (1 slot) - 9 to 13 June

Eastern Europe (1 slot) - 14 to 18 June

South America (2 slots) - 14 to 18 June

Southeast Asia (2 slots) - 19 to 23 June

Western Europe (2 slots) - 19 to 23 June
Valve has decided to award South America with two slots again. The only regions with singular slots are North America and Eastern Europe, but two teams from EEU have already been invited.
With all this information in mind, The International 2024 will feature sixteen teams. The event is expected to run from 4 to 15 September at Copenhagen, Denmark.
