The Esports Awards 2022 will be held in December in Los Angeles. Today, the organizer presented the nominees for all categories, and there were Dota 2 nominees among them. In this article, we've highlighted the key nominations:
- Esports Team – PSG.LGD;
- Esports Coach – Zhang "xiao8" Ning;
- Esports PC Rookie – Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf;
- Esports PC Player – Zhang "Faith_bian" Ruida and Illya "Yatoro" Mulyarchuk.
Also, Dota 2 has been nominated for the Esports Game of 2022. Its competitors are League of Legends, Valorant, CS:GO, Rocket League, Free Fire, Apex Legends, R6, and Fortnite.
The Esports Awards have been held annually since 2016. At the Esports Awards 2021, Dota 2 representatives won the following nominations: Michał "Nisha" Jankowski as the Best Esportsman and Team Secret as the best Esports organization.
