Ame reunites with Xm and XinQ in Xtreme's new lineup
Xtreme Gaming announced a rebuild of their roster, deciding to completely overhaul the team after a series of failures on the international stage. The club announced major changes to the roster designed to return the Chinese region's grandee to the top of the global pro scene.
The foundation of the new roster is star carry Ame, while his former teammates Xm and XinQ will again play mid and support, and newcomers are ready to strengthen the team at tournaments of the new season. Thus, the lineup looks like this:
In the previous season, the team showed inconsistent results, taking high places at a number of major online and offline events, including prize-winning positions at ESL One Birmingham 2026. However, the end of the competitive year was overshadowed by a failure at The International 2026, after which the organization decided on drastic personnel purges and the disbandment of the previous core.
A significant part of the rebuild was the arrival in the offlane of player zeal, whose addition to the roster is being actively discussed in the community. The player sparks considerable debate among analysts: on the one hand, he is an esports player with extensive experience on the tier-2 and tier-3 scene; on the other, fans doubt whether he can seamlessly replace such a mastodon as Xxs and consistently perform under the pressure of a top organization.
The next test for the updated Xtreme Gaming roster will be the qualifiers for Blast Slam 8 and PGL Wallachia Season 9 — the team received direct invitations. The latter tournament will start on September 17 and will take place in Bucharest, the prize pool will be $1 million, among the teams that have already confirmed their roster for this tournament are PlayTime, 1win Team, and Xtreme Gaming.
