BetBoom DACHA Dubai Playoffs Day 3: Team Falcons And The BetBoom Team Secure Top 3

Upsets continue to happen at BetBoom DACHA Dubai 2024, with the BetBoom Team sending the Gladiators to the Lower Bracket to move on to the Upper Bracker Final. On the other side, Team Falcons completed a reverse sweep against Azure Ray to meet the BetBoom Team in their next match.

BetBoom Team 2-0 Gaimin Gladiators

The Gaimin Gladiators looked in peak form yesterday in their match against Team Spirit. However, the host team surprisingly smashed them.

The first map of the series turned out to be super easy for the BB Team in what seemed like a heavy outdraft. A big team fight win in the bottom lane propelled the Eastern European squad to take a substantial lead and snowball their way to a 27-minute victory.

Ace tried to replicate Nisha’s Dazzle in the second game against Nightfall’s Naga Siren. The Gladiators performed way better in the early game than the previous map and built a decent lead going into the mid game.

However, a successful high-ground defense from the BB Team turned the game 180 degrees. The game was dragged out for a while, with lots of split pushing and creep cutting. In the end, the BetBoom Team closed the game in 73 minutes to sweep the Gladiators 2-0.

With this victory, TORONTOTOKYO and the boys secured a top-three finish at the tournament.

Team Falcons 2-1 Azure Ray

The betting odds for the series between the only MENA and Chinese teams left were close to fifty-fifty. With BetBoom DACHA being held on their region’s soil, the Falcons had to display a strong performance, which they did.

The Falcons took an early lead in the first map, but it was inflated net worth since skiter was on Alchemist. Azure Ray could take good fights, take control of the map, and push objectives with their mid-game-oriented lineup to snowball and take a 36-minute win.

The Chinese squad was heavily outplayed in the second game. Azure Ray lost all their lanes, and the Falcons took complete control of the map. However, Lou and the others constantly cut waves to delay the game. After a slugfest, the Falcons could finally claim the Aegis and go for a game-winning push to take it to a third map.

The decisive map showed that the Falcons were the better team – for today, at least. The MENA roster showed a better performance, from lanes to rotations. Azure Ray did not stand a chance, and the Falcons could close the map and series after only 31 minutes of play.

Playoffs Bracket

With Day 3’s results, here is what the bracket looks like.
