Chinese translator Tiffani "Oling" Lim, who works with Valve, revealed that Chinese players were stuck in Romania after The International 10. However, Valve will cover all of their accommodation costs.

Tiffani "Oling" Lim:

Chinese players who did not contract Covid in Romania will return to China around Nov 7th after a 2-week quarantine. Those who've contracted Covid however, have to repeat their serology & nucleic acid tests until they get negative results for both & are cleared to return.

Valve provided the CN players with PCs & will be covering their accommodation costs until they're cleared to return to China. The Huawei Romanian office staff have also lent their support to the CN teams throughout their stay in Bucharest & helped to resolve many issues.

Earlier, there was a rumor that some Chinese players had tested positive for COVID-19 already after The International 10. However, the names of those infected weren't reported. At The International 10, China was represented by the most players — 22 Esportsmen.

The International 10 took place from October 7 to 17 in Bucharest, the capital of Romania. The tournament featured 18 teams from different regions to compete for the prize of $40,018,195.
