According to statistics gathered from streaming platform Twitch, Dota 2 ranked 10th among all categories in the second quarter of 2021. Streams Charts, an analytics portal, shared the information.
The most significant Esports tournaments on Dota 2 were in the second quarter. We saw the outcome of the second season of DPC Regional Leagues - Kyiv WePlay AniMajor - and the first part of regional qualifiers for The International 10. There was also a short ESL One Summer 2021 online event with a $400,000 prize pool in June.
Compared to the first quarter of 2021, Dota 2 category viewing hours are up 35.6%, up nearly 40 million from previous indicators.
