Falcons won the third tournament in a row, becoming champions of FPG 2
The first tier-1 tournament of the new gaming season, FISSURE Playground 2, has come to an end. Team Falcons became champions for the third time in a row, moreover, they have not missed four grand finals without exceptions and confirmed their status as the top-1 team in the world in Dota at the moment even after the reshuffle period.
BRACKET FISSURE Playground 2:

In the lower bracket final today, Team Yandex met Team Falcons. The reigning champions of Int left no chance for the young team, sending them home with a score of 2-0.

The coach of Team Yandex took responsibility for the defeat, he analyzed the team's mistakes and emphasized that he is proud of the result in any case:
'I think in the first game we just played poorly: made a mistake at the bottom tower and gave them a huge advantage. Then we recovered, but the fight at the second Roshan went very badly, I think it was our mistake, not the opponent's merit. After that, the game was basically over. On the second map, our heroes were too bad against Chen, they just didn't work, so yes, it feels like for the second match we should have had better draft ideas, and maybe we would have had a chance, but given how everything went, there was no chance at all. I am very proud of the guys, but I am upset because we couldn't win a single map. I am sad that we couldn't come up with anything good for the last day, and because of that, we lost.'
The final was quite unpredictable. The first map was taken by BetBoom Team after an easy victory over Team Yandex, probably Team Falcons relaxed a bit, so they let the game go. Already on the second map, Team Falcons gathered and won in 25 minutes, not allowing BetBoom Team to make more than four frags. Even rolling out on Slark in the third position, ATF finished the match with a KDA of 11/0/4. The remaining two games Team Falcons did not let go. It is also worth noting the play of Sneyking on Pugna. Once again, he became the best in terms of HEAL at the tournament.

Of course, it is impossible not to mention how much Kiritych did to get even a step closer to the championship. One of such moments was a Teamwipe on the river and an Ultra kill by the carry of BetBoom Team on the fourth map. After such a comeback, the community once again started comparing him to Miracle- in his prime. However, for victory, one Kiritych was not enough, at least the rest of the cores of BetBoom Team in the grand final were practically invisible. After the victory, Malr1ne, who, like Kiritych, is a former member of Nemiga Gaming, hugged and supported his comrade:

FISSURE Playground 2 took place from October 23 to November 2 in Belgrade, Serbia. The tournament prize pool was 1 million dollars.
