Liquid said goodbye to the coach
Team Liquid officially announced the departure of coach kpii. The Australian worked with the team since July 2024 and during this time achieved the highest results with the team: victory at The International 2024 and two triumphs at PGL Wallachia Season 3 and PGL Wallachia Season 4.
In an official statement, Team Liquid emphasized the invaluable contribution of kpii to the team's success:
His calm presence became an integral part of the cohesive atmosphere that united our team and made our coaching staff so special.
Besides him, there were two other coaches: Blitz and jabbz. They, apparently, remain with the team.
The departure of kpii was part of a large-scale restructuring in Team Liquid. Earlier, the team was left by captain iNSaNiA, who ended his playing career, and offlaner SabeRLighT was benched and started playing qualifiers with a new team, AVULUS.
At the moment, the future of the main roster of Team Liquid, including miCKe, Nisha and Boxi, remains uncertain. According to rumors, tOfu and Ace, former players of Gaimin Gladiators, may join the team.
The next tournament for the team will be FISSURE Universe: Episode 7. The playoff stage will take place from October 9-12, and the tournament prize pool will be 250,000 dollars.
