VP announced the disband
Virtus.pro announced the disbandment of the roster and coaching staff. The team had one of the worst seasons in its history and, after the end of The International 2026, which the squad failed to qualify for, decided to completely disband the roster.

Throughout the entire season, Virtus.pro performed extremely inconsistently. The team made it through closed qualifiers with mixed success, and at the tournaments themselves most often finished in last places. The last matches of this roster took place at Esports World Cup 2026, where the team placed 13–16 and failed to make the playoffs. At the same time, the organization stated that it does not plan to leave Dota 2 and will continue working on creating a new roster.
Interestingly, Abed played for PlayTime as a stand-in and won Games of the Future 2026, and since PlayTime still haven't decided on a mid player, free agent Abed looks like one of the most obvious options for the roster. Perhaps we'll see a corresponding announcement soon.
