5-0 On The Final Day

Team Falcons started the final day of ESL One Birmingham with a rematch against Tundra Esports This time, Pure could not solo carry his team, and the Falcons won both maps relatively easily, sweeping the series 2-0.

In the Grand Final match, the BetBoom Team played well in the early game and took a sizable lead. However, Team Falcons could delay the game and farm their way back, eventually finding a good team fight to make a comeback. ATF’s Underlord went 0/8/14, but the team still picked up the win.

Again, the BetBoom Team won the early portions of Game 2, building an 8,000 net-worth lead. The kill score was 21 to 4 in favor of gpk and the team, but Team Falcons pulled off a miraculous comeback fight after skiter cleaved through all enemy heroes. It looked like the BetBoom Team ran out of steam on the third map, as Team Falcons displayed a masterclass performance, utterly dominating their opponents. skiter poked fun at Nightfall, as he is notoriously known for pressing BKB and teleporting home in every fight.

Game 3 was a 29-6 stomp in favor of Team Falcons, who were crowned the ESL One Birmingham 2024 champions.

The Road Wasn’t As Easy As It Seemed

Team Falcons had a rough start to ESL One Birmingham, as news broke out that Malr1ne would likely miss the event due to visa issues. SumaiL had to stand in for the team on the first day, but fortunately, the Russian mid-laner could rejoin the team on the second day.

Despite playing with the complete roster, Team Falcons showed struggles in the group stage, eventually making it to the Upper Bracket through tiebreakers.

They lost their first Playoff match against Tundra Esports and had their backs against the wall. Still, the team showed experience and raw skill, overcoming all the hurdles and winning yet another title.
