MinD_ContRoL returns, together with Hellscream they will go to FPG 2 as part of Nigma
The offlaner and support of the fourth position Nigma Galaxy faced visa issues on the eve of the start of FISSURE Playground 2. Due to this, the team was forced to urgently look for replacements for two of its players. As stand-ins for OmaR and No!ob, MinD_ContRoL and Hellscream were invited.
Thus, the roster of Nigma Galaxy for FISSURE Playground 2 will look like this:
- Ghost
- SumaiL
- MinD_ContRoL (stand-in)
- Hellscream (stand-in)
- Tobi
- KuroKy (coach)
For Hellscream, this is a chance to make a name for himself again at a major tournament. A week ago, he reached the 16,000 MMR mark, which he announced on his personal Telegram channel. At the time of publication, the Belarusian esports player is ranked 24th in the European ladder. In the past, he played for Shopify Rebellion, with which he participated in Esports World Cup 2025, FISSURE Universe: Episode 5, PGL Wallachia Season 5 andDreamLeague Season 26.
As for MinD_ContRoL, he will return under the banner of Nigma Galaxy, albeit only for the duration of the tournament. Earlier in 2024, the offlaner explained the reason for his departure from the organization after many years of working together. He noted that the lack of success with the previous roster made him want change:
«I decided that I needed to change something in my life. It's not just that in recent years at Nigma Galaxy we stopped achieving success, although it is related. I didn't like it. I understood that results wouldn't come immediately as soon as I joined a new team. But I needed something new. That's why I left Nigma Galaxy»
After leaving Nigma Galaxy in 2023, he joined Tundra Esports, and then Shopify Rebellion. Later, he played in tier-2 stacks, and for the last six months, he hasn't been part of any team. Now he will have to reunite for a short time with his longtime partner KuroKy, with whom he won The International 2017 as part of Team Liquid.
FISSURE Playground 2 will take place at a LAN arena in Belgrade from October 23 to November 2. The prize pool of the event will be $1,000,000.
