PlayTime signed South America Rejects and disbanded its Asian Dota 2 roster
Esports organization PlayTime has officially updated its Dota 2 roster. The club disbanded its previous roster from Southeast Asia and signed the South American team South America Rejects, which previously competed under the paiN Gaming tag.
Despite the lack of an announcement in the first days after the transfer, the team had already started playing under the new tag at the online tournament 1win Essence 1. The new roster successfully advanced to the championship playoffs.
The previous PlayTime roster consisted mainly of players from the Philippines. The team featured Akashi, PiPi, Raven^, DJ, and Kuku. After the changes, the organization fully switched to a South American lineup.

Before moving under the PlayTime tag, the team represented paiN Gaming. As part of the organization, the team competed at DreamLeague 28 and ESL One Birmingham 2026, and also achieved several notable results on the international scene.
Among the roster's main achievements is a victory at DreamLeague Division 2 Season 4, which earned the team a slot at DreamLeague 29. In addition, the team finished in the top 6 at PGL Wallachia Season 8.
1win Essence 1 takes place from May 2 to 11. The championship features 14 teams, and the total prize pool is $100,000.
