SuperNova and Koma reveal how they managed to deceive D2CL admins
Two players banned for account swapping, ??Viktor "SuperNova" Galichkin and ??Kamil "Koma`" Biktimirov, revealed the details of how they managed to hide it on Dota 2 Champions League 2022 Season 15.
After the first accusations against S9 and Luna Gaming, the players were going to confess everything to the championship organizers but later decided to deceive Epic Esports. For that, they hired a programmer who wrote an extension that changed the page code. With his help, the participants of both teams provided fake data to the tournament's organizer.
The Esportsmen even showed the program in action. When enabled, the code changes the information in the logs, substituting the necessary data about the login city of the account. Each of the banned players used this method.
Earlier, Valve banned for life 10 EEU Esportsmen for account swapping. The list included 4 players who were supposed to participate in the DPC Winter Tour: ??Koma, ??Illusion, ??Lilskrip, and ??Paradise.
