Xtreme Gaming defeated PSG Quest with a 2-0 score in the Lower Bracket of the Elite League. This loss meant PSG Quest was eliminated from the tournament, taking 5-6th place and pocketing $40,000.

TA2000 and company lost to Azure Ray and G2.iG in the three-way tiebreaker, resulting in them starting their Playoff run in the Lower Bracket. Xtreme Gaming delivered the final blow to eliminate them from the tournament, meaning PSG Quest lost to three Chinese teams in a row.

The Chinese side immediately picked up the pace in the first map, posting numerous kills in the laning stage. Despite being in a significant deficit, PSG Quest still found a favorable engagement, taking a flawless five-for-nothing fight at the bottom lane to take Roshan and build a 10,000 net worth lead.

Being ahead now, TA2000’s Morphling chose to buy Scythe of Vyse over Black King Bar, which turned out to be a detrimental mistake. Xtreme Gaming defended their high ground and eventually won the game.

The second map was an easy victory for Xtreme GamingPSG Quest found a good team fight at the bottom lane, taking out three heroes immediately. However, Ame and Xxs pulled off a 2 versus 5 to maintain the team’s lead. At the end of the map, Ame ended the game 14/0/12 on Sven.

Overall, the MENA squad had been performing poorly for the past few months, so this is a result they can be proud of. Xtreme Gaming will move on to face the winner of Team Liquid versus Gaimin Gladiators
