Tundra Esports wins ESL One Summer 2021 qualifiers
The European team Tundra Esports became a winner of the closed qualifiers for ESL One Summer 2021. In the final match, they beat Vikin.gg with no single defeat.
4 teams took part in the final stage of qualifiers: 2 teams advanced from the open qualifiers, and 2 more received a direct invitation. All participants in the closed qualifiers were assigned to the Double-Elimination bracket, where they played in BO3 matches.
Tundra Esports became the first team to compete at ESL One Summer 2021. The rest of the tournament participants are currently unknown.
ESL One Summer 2021 will take place online from June 16 to 20. In addition to Tundra Esports, 9 more teams will take part in the tournament, which will receive a direct invitation. The total prize fund for the event is $400,000.
