The third day of the group stage of Blast Slam 7 has come to an end. Team Falcons have pulled ahead, CIS teams are performing steadily, and Tundra Esports have dropped in the standings and are now on the same level as GLYPH:
The most interesting events of the day:
- Today went smoothly, with the exception of a few unexpected moments. One of them: Tundra Esports once again lost all the matches of the game day. There are three final games left in the Play-In, whose results will decide the fate of the team. There is still a chance to advance further. Meanwhile, 1win Team have already started dropping explicit hints about signing the roster; in particular, sound cues were voiced that matched the sound cues of the Tundra Esports roster, and an official announcement is expected in June. We hope that by then the team’s results will improve and become stable again. In addition, the community is expressing concerns about the management: if the guys sign without their current management, a failure is being predicted for 1win Team.
- BetBoom Team, on the contrary, have hit their stride and won all three matches. Tomorrow they face two easy opponents and the final boss – Team Falcons, who are leading the group. Overall, sitting solidly in the middle of the list of participating teams speaks to the team’s stability.
- LGD Gaming are surprising. After beating almost all the CIS teams and losing only to the mastodons, they suddenly throw a game against OG. The group stage of Blast Slam 7 runs from May 26 to 29, with the 4 best teams advancing to the playoffs. After that, the Play-In will take place, and its winners will qualify for the playoffs. The playoff stage will be held June 4–7 in Copenhagen, Denmark. The tournament prize pool is 1 million dollars.
