All tickets to The International 11 sold out in minutes
Valve started selling The International 11 tickets last night. They sold out in less than 15 minutes. This applies to tickets for all stages of the competition.
The organizer tried to limit sales and gave out no more than 5 in 1 hand. Also, there was a random electronic queue system to avoid selling the tickets to resellers. However, it seems that these efforts didn't help at all. Users on Reddit are selling tickets for several times more than their first price.
This time Valve sold tickets for each day of The International 11 separately. The cost of tickets for each day of the main stage is 88 Singapore dollars, and for the final 2 days – 498 Singapore dollars.
The International 11 runs from October 15 to 30 in Singapore. The group stage takes place at the Indoor Stadium and the playoffs and finals at Suntec Singapore. The main stage of the championship features 20 teams. The prize pool for the event is unknown yet.
