Emo returned to Yakult Brothers
Yakutou Brothers announced changes to the roster a few days before the start of Games of the Future 2026. The team was left by midlaner Setsu, and his place was taken by former GLYPH player — Emo. With the updated roster, the squad will perform on the international stage in the near future.
The decision to replace the player was made by mutual agreement of the parties. In an official statement published on the club's social media page, the management thanked Setsu for his contribution to the development of the team:
«By mutual agreement and taking into account the wishes of the player, midlaner Setsu is leaving the team. We thank him for an excellent performance in the TI qualifiers. Throughout the entire journey — from the open qualifiers to the closed regional ones — his stable play helped the team a lot while the guys were building synergy. It’s a pity that we didn’t manage to go together to the home World Championship. We wish Setsu good luck in the future!»
A month earlier, Setsu, together with Lou and kaka, joined the renewed Yakutou Brothers roster on the eve of The International 2026: China Closed Qualifier. However, based on the results of the qualifiers, the organization decided to bet on a more experienced and aggressive player.
The new midlaner of Yakutou Brothers is Emo, who quite recently left GLYPH after a series of defeats. For him, this is a return to his home harbor. He is returning to Yakutou Brothers under this tag for the second time.
Particular interest is drawn by a recent episode from the life of Emo, which may have influenced his current form. According to previously unconfirmed reports, it was he who acted as a personal coach for the 2019 League of Legend world champion, Doinb, preparing him for his debut at The International 2026. Under the guidance of the Chinese midlaner, the Korean esports athlete managed to gain 8,200 MMR in a month.

Games of the Future 2026 will take place from July 29 to August 9 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The tournament will feature a prize pool of 1,000,000 dollars.
