Overview of teams ranking changes on September 7

Dota 2
Published at: 2020-09-07 12:59:09

A weekly update of the professional Dota 2 teams' ranking has been released on the website. Over the past week, there have been huge changes in the ranking, as all the major tournaments that began in the summer have ended: Omega League and ESL One Thailand.

??OG broke into the TOP-5 of the rating, taking second place in Omega League Europe: Immortal Division. The team moved up 13 positions at once! The champions of the tournament, ??Team Secret, only strengthened their leadership in our ranking.

Another champion-team that won ESL One Thailand 2020: Asia last week was ??TNC Predator. The victory allowed her to move up from 21st to 8th place. The vice-champion of the tournament, ??BOOM Esports, also received a good increase in points.

All top Chinese teams continued to fall in the ranking. There were no major tournaments in their region for more than a month, and the teams are on vacation. Now reshuffle season has begun there, and the changes will affect almost everyone.

Note: the roster of PSG.LGD will change after its first game. Until then, in the ranking, its former roster will display.

It is worth noting 2 teams from the Asian region - ??Reality Rift and ??Geek Fam. They are in the ranking even though these organizations have officially announced the disbanding of the teams. If other organizations sign at least three players who played for these teams, then all earned points will go to their new team.

Most likely, these positions of the teams will remain for a long time. In the near future, from the announced tournaments, the largest one is BTS Pro Series Season 3: Americas with a total prize of $50,000.
