Peak online in Dota 2 exceeded 700,000 for the first time since November 2020
For the first time since November 2020, the peak online in Dota 2 on Steam has exceeded 700,000 people. The information is available on the statistical resource SteamDB.

In November last year, the peak online was 717,263 users. After that, over several months, it was continuously falling, even despite the release of the 7.28 patch in December.
Two reasons can cause the current growth. Firstly, at the end of March, Valve and Netflix released an animated series called Dota: Dragon's Blood, which received good reviews and was also at the top of the streaming service for several weeks. Secondly, on April 9, Valve released the 7.29 patch, which changed the terrain of the map and made many other changes. According to user reviews, this is one of the most interesting patches in a long time.
